Experience

With years of professional experience in the photography industry, coupled with a lifelong exposure to the craft, I possess a passion for visual storytelling. Raised in an environment where photography was integral, I inherited invaluable skills from my father, who was a seasoned photographer. Prior to switching to Lightroom Classic, when adobe became subscription based-I honed my editing abilities on an earlier version of Photoshop. Transitioning to the full Adobe subscription has since further enhanced my capabilities, allowing me to deliver exceptional results consistently.

Specialty Experience

Before taking my professional journey in photography more seriously, I devoted several years to the fields of healthcare and childcare, where I gained invaluable experience working with and caring for individuals aged 0-25 across a spectrum of conditions and abilities. During one particularly impactful year, I focused my efforts on the geriatric community, where I had the privilege of providing compassionate care to older patients with a warm heart.

My personal health journey has profoundly shaped my perspective. Born with a rare condition of uncertain origin, I lived my childhood and adolescence with complex craniofacial abnormalities—often referred to as facial deformities. This unique experience instilled in me a deep appreciation for the significance of physical differences and the vital importance of psychological safety. Growing up with an acute awareness of my own “imperfections” ignited a passion within me to explore themes of confidence, self-acceptance, and the dismantling of societal stigmas surrounding appearance and judgment.

Through my photography, I strive to cultivate meaningful relationships with my subjects, celebrating their individuality and empowering them to embrace their uniqueness. Contributing to the Goldenhar and genetic syndrome communities, as well as educating others about physical abnormalities, has been a source of immense joy for me. I firmly believe that our differences are not flaws; rather, they enrich the tapestry of our world. After all, if everyone were the same, our lives would be dull and boring, and we wouldn't have much at all to foster creativity or individuality.
